Childrens Toothbrushes

My little girl is collecting children's toothbrushes to send on a medical mission trip to the Dominiqin Republic in March. Two doctors from Mt. Pleasant will be attending this trip and have asked my daughter to collect these toothbrushes. The goal is 400 toothbrushes by March and another 400 by September when they will go on their second trip. She is really trying to get all 800 toothbrushes. She currently has 317. Good start, but a ways to go.

We Made The Newspaper!

On January 22nd (Sunday) there will be an article in the Charlotte Observer (Cabarrus Neighbors) about us and our attempt to stop world hunger. This is a great thing, so that more people can know about what we are trying to do. Be sure to look for it. Let us know what you think.

Stop Hunger Now 2012

Hello Everyone,

Our Stop Hunger Now 2012 campaign has officially began. We had a meeting on January 5th to talk about the event and how we would raise money for it. The tentative date for the packaging event will be on July 28th 2012 at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. The time hasn't been decided yet. We had 4 churches represented at the meeting. I know that the numbers will grow as word gets out about what we are trying to do. Last year was a great success and I am sure that this year will be the same. This opportunity is open to any church or any body that wishes to help. Please tell everyone you know about it so we can raise as much money as possible so that we can feed as many children as possible. Thank you to everyone that attended. Now lets go out and get this thing rolling!!
